Every Ash & Grain piece begins as raw timber. From there, it passes through stages that balance technology and touch.

It starts in the design studio: sketches refined into forms that are simple, functional, and timeless. Once ready, the design is brought to life on CNC machines, where precision ensures every cut is intentional. But machines only take us so far.

Handwork gives character. Edges are softened, surfaces smoothed, and details checked with care. The finishing touches — brass pins, natural oils, balanced proportions — elevate the design from object to heirloom.

Finally, each piece leaves the workshop as part of a small-batch drop. It’s a journey rooted in material honesty, respect for detail, and a commitment to creating work that feels permanent.
